L’UNESCO, en collaboration avec la Commission des Nations Unies pour l\u2019Afrique (UNECA) et la Commission de l\u2019Union Africaine, organise un dialogue r\u00e9gional sur les \u00ab Nouvelles formes d’accords et de coop\u00e9ration en mati\u00e8re de retour et de restitution de biens culturels en Afrique \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Cette premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e r\u00e9gionale s\u2019inscrit dans la continuit\u00e9 de la D\u00e9claration de MONDIACULT 2022, adopt\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019unanimit\u00e9 \u00e0 Mexico (Mexique), invitant \u00e0 un \u00ab dialogue international ouvert et inclusif \u00bb en faveur du retour et de la restitution des biens culturels.<\/p>\n

Cette initiative permettra de r\u00e9unir un large \u00e9ventail d\u2019acteurs au niveau continental afin de pr\u00e9senter et de promouvoir des exemples r\u00e9cents et innovants de coop\u00e9ration et de partenariats, de discuter des besoins et d\u00e9fis rencontr\u00e9s par les Etats africains dans le cadre des demandes de retour et restitution de biens culturels, en particulier les biens sortis de leur territoire d\u2019origine dans un contexte colonial.<\/p>\n

Cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement se tiendra les 27 et 28 janvier 2025 \u00e0 l\u2019Africa Hall, Addis-Abeba (Ethiopie), et sera \u00e9galement accessible en ligne sur la plateforme zoom :<\/p>\n
